Does adding a number to my cart reserve it?
No. The cart only records the numbers you want Potter Service to review. Availability must be checked again before payment.
Do I pay on this website?
No. The website does not collect payment. Potter Service contacts you after your request is submitted.
Why is the website price called estimated?
Inventory and source prices can change. Potter Service confirms the number and final price before asking for payment.
Are there monthly charges from Potter Service?
No. The number request is for a one-time number purchase. Any future carrier or phone-service charges are between you and the carrier you choose.
Can I submit more than one number?
Yes. Add several possibilities to your cart and submit them in one request.
What happens after I pay?
Potter Service purchases the agreed number and provides the available account or port-out information needed for your receiving carrier.
Is porting guaranteed?
No. The receiving carrier must support the number's rate center and approve the port using accurate account information.
When can I start advertising the number?
Only after the number is active and the port to your chosen carrier has completed successfully.
How long do I have to port my number?
Every completed purchase includes 30 days to port out with no further Potter Service charges. Optional port protection can allow up to 60 total days for $12.99 per number or 90 total days for $19.99 per number.
What happens if I miss the porting deadline?
If the number is not ported within the included or purchased protection period, it may be released and returned to the available number pool.
